Ocean Exploration


I think this picture ties in nicely to our class about the days of ocean exploration and discovery. This ship is a recreation of the ship used by John Cabot when he crossed the Atlantic in 1497 and discovered Newfoundland.

Nice! Where was the photo taken?

It was taken in Bonavista, Newfoundland...where Cabot landed. I took it while visiting family this summer.
